Deldomains.inf Patch
Posted By admin On 08/04/18Just another note on this situation. I just did a format and fresh install of Windows XP Pro SP3 on a Dell Latitude D620 laptop. I installed IE8 without having Spyware Blaster and Spybot installed. I did have AVG 8.5 installed. There was no lag at all when launcing IE8. It ran perfect.
I then went ahead and installed Spyware Blaster and Spybot and applied all immunization. I then went to launch IE8 and once again I experienced a 5 to 10 second delay on IE8 opening. I then installed the Deldomains.inf patch and IE 8 opened up instantly. I went into the Spyware Blaster protection and I noticed that some of the Restricted Sites were now partially disabled. If you want to continue to use IE8 with Spyware Blaster and Spybot you will need this patch. If you update the immunization of Spybot and Spyware Blaster IE8 will stall again until you run the deldomains.inf patch. Wacky Races Gioco Pc there. It appears that IE8 has it's own built in protection similar to what Spyware Blaster and Spybot provide.
If you have these programs running all together you can expect to experience a lag. Right now I have Spyware Blaster uninstalled.
I do have Spybot installed with the immunization applied but I did have to run the deldomains.inf patch before IE8 would run correctly.
